Being GREEN is soooo in

We’ve launched our Green Film Festival as part of our “Live for Tomorrow” series.  It’s fantastic.  Last week we viewed, all 68 of us, Food Matters.  If you haven’t seen it, you have got to check it out! It’s described as a hard-hitting, fast paced look at our current state of health.  It will really make you think about what you are putting into your mouth and how easy it is to change.  Yes, I know giving up some favorite foods, ie McDonalds Big Macs, seems unthinkable, but just making one or two simple changes, ie drinking water, water, water can be so healthy.  Why is it so hard for us to adjust/change.  Our health is so clearly an important priority for all of us.  Come on blog readers, let’s take a healthy stand!

On January 27 we will be showing King Korn. A documentary about two friends, one acre of corn and the subsidized crop that drives our fast food nation.  You will never look at a package of processed food the same way….corn in some form, in almost everything!

Oh I forgot to mention the “Catch a Healty Habit Cafe” will be serving up some samples again.  Their fruit smoothies are totally delicious.

Hope you can make the movie showing.
